Construction- Reflection

The locations we shot the opening scenes

We have now completely shot the opening scenes of "like it was yesterday" and the spades production team feels like we haven't met the expectations of the audience so far in terms of location. This is because we took a survey and we asked had results of which locations most of our target audience would like to see in our films and so far we have met that requirement. The results of out audience wanted so see more local shops that they go to and we haven't viewed that in our film yet as we have only taken shots of Porsha in the bus walking in an alley way and being inside a house. So far the locations are quite boring and expected in an ordinary film however we have taken this weakness and manipulated it into a strength. These locations are just location of our opening scenes so it may be predictable but the actions happening within these location will be unpredictable especially the foster home. Don't worry guys the local shops that you requested for will be viewed in the film but were going to use the bus, alley way and foster home to captivate your attention not of the location but the characters within the locations. The bus so far is just used as a place where Porsha is consumed by her thoughts and the alley way going towards that foster home is used to portray her feelings about her present situation of going to a new home and family. Finally the foster home is where the action begins and were Porsha starts to face her abuse by her foster sisters. Don't worry we will make sure that the voice of our audience is being heard in terms of location.
